Our Williamsburg Style Country Rental House in Virginia

From the outside this house looks so lovely, and it was, but it wasn't without its quirks. First off, one of the kids got stuck in bathroom when the lock fell off the door. We laughed so hard we cried. The Lord has a way of giving you just what you need at just the right time. Then we discovered we lacked cell service and only had sporadic Internet connection. Oh well, so much for that! And to top it all off the back door didn't lock. It was quite the adventure surviving this house... Oh, did I forget to mention the dead mouse?

A Taste of Paris

Here is a picture of the cream cheese danishes we tried last night. A fun delicacy to prepare!!! Our boys loved them and they ate every last one this morning for breakfast. What is it they say? "A healthy appetite is always a compliment to the cook". Well, in this case, the baker. We shall be trying this recipe again and look forward to experimenting with variations.
